Jones: No Job Offers Yet
Despite reports Jerry Jones has pegged Wade Phillips to be the new head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, the team owner denied any such job offers had been made.In the early morning hours, other media reported Phillips arrived in Dallas to complete contract details.
When Jones arrived at Valley Ranch Thursday morning, he said: "I have not offered the job to anybody."
Jones has interviewed 10 men for the head coaching job. The latest was Colts' assistant head coach Jim Caldwell on Wednesday.
