Giants linebacker Antonio Pierce should keep his mouth closed. In an interview with the New York Post, Pierce claims Dallas is not the team to beat in the NFC East. Here is a portion of the article.
He said the Giants were on top of the division the last two years. Folks, this is untrue. This is exactly why I think the NFL needs to enact a continuing education program for NFL players, chiefly NY Giants players. There are more dumb-asses on this team like Pierce shown below, than a all-you-can-eat buffet at a Kentucky barbecue.
That's really all Pierce says in the article. The sensational Post just decided to make it a story and disclose the idiot's comments.
UPDATE: Another Giant said something stupid.
Brandon Jacobs said to the press: "I think we're going to go to Dallas this Sunday and whup their (butt)."
Umm, OK, Brandon. Good. Then he realizes what he just said and retracts it.
"Well, I just think we'll go play well. I'm going to say that," he said. "We're going in there and play well and hope we come out with a victory.
Sure, Brandon.
Okay. Someone didn't tell Pierce that Dallas leads the series against the Giants 52-34-2. Vegas says Dallas by 6.
